Profiles of farmers will be added to this page as the project progresses, from October 2016 to June 2017. Each farmer is being asked the same set of questions relating to farming practices and landscape. Naturally, every meeting is unique, with the interview becoming a conversation. Click on the name of the farmer to find out more and access a short profile and, as they become available, a link to a fuller article about each farmer and a short audio clip.
The full transcripts and audio recordings will be archived at the Dales Countryside Museum, and the original images will be exhibited at the Museum from October 2017 – March 2018.
